DELIVERY · YOUR OWN LINK · NO AGGREGATOR

Direct Orders: your own online ordering site

Customers order delivery from your menu link or your own web address. Every order is verified on WhatsApp, waits on Draft tickets for you to accept, and goes straight to the kitchen. Cash on delivery, or pay online through your own payment gateway account. The customers, and their numbers, stay yours.

Direct Orders is delivery on the QuickKOT QR menu. It runs on Economy with the QR menu add-on, and is included on Premium and Enterprise. QuickKOT takes no commission on an order. When a customer pays online, your payment gateway charges its usual fee on that payment.

Nothing changes at the counter. Delivery on POS, the kitchen display and the bill work as they do today; a Direct Order simply arrives as one more delivery ticket.

Menu schedule is the week clock on that QR menu. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner sell only while their tiles are on. Direct Orders follows that automatically — nobody turns tiles off by hand when a service ends.

How an order comes in

1 · The customer orders

From your menu link, the cart offers At the restaurant or Delivery. A table QR never shows Delivery, so dine-in guests are never confused.

2 · A code on WhatsApp

Every delivery order is confirmed with a 4-digit code sent on WhatsApp. Too many wrong codes or resends pause that phone and number for an hour, so fake orders don't reach your kitchen.

3 · The address and the area

A returning customer picks a saved address; a new one types it and picks their area from your zone list. Each area has its own delivery charge. "My area is not listed" uses your default charge, and you decide before accepting.

4 · Checked before it is placed

Items, stock and prices are checked again at the last step. A dish switched off or short on stock is named, and the customer changes the cart. Delivery and packing charges show with their own GST.

5 · Cash or pay online

Cash on delivery is always offered. Pay online (UPI, card, netbanking, wallet) appears when your own payment gateway account is connected and the menu is opened on your own web address. QuickKOT helps you get your own payment gateway account with the leading providers.

6 · A page to follow the order

The customer gets a status page: waiting, accepted, being cooked, ready to pick up, out for delivery with the rider's name and number, and delivered. Each step also reaches them on WhatsApp.

On your side: Draft tickets

A Direct Order waits on Draft tickets for up to 15 minutes, with a beep when it arrives and again in the last minutes.

Accept · send to kitchen

The card shows the verified number, the customer's history with you, the address and the area. Accept makes the delivery ticket exactly like a phoned-in order, prints the KOT, and confirms to the customer on WhatsApp.

Reject, with a reason

"We don't deliver there", "An item ran out", "Kitchen closing", "Couldn't reach you" or "Too busy right now". The customer hears it on WhatsApp. A paid order is refunded in full at once.

Take an item off

Out of one dish? Lower the quantity before you accept. The total drops, and a paid order is refunded the difference at once.

Not accepted in time

After 15 minutes the order lapses. The customer is told, and a paid order is refunded. Nothing reaches the kitchen by accident.

Pause when you are busy

Pause 30 min or Pause until I resume from Draft tickets. Set the hours you take delivery orders in Settings › Delivery. Delivery on POS keeps working.

Riders and the bill QR

Assign a rider and Send out: the customer gets the rider's name and number. An unpaid bill can print a single-use UPI QR, valid for an hour, so the customer pays by scan at the door.

Your own web address

Direct Orders works on your QuickKOT menu link from the first day, with cash on delivery. For a brand of your own, QuickKOT connects an address such as order.yourbrand.com: it opens your menu, the customer's status page and the bill there, and turns on Pay online with your payment gateway account.

Chains choose what each address opens: one outlet's menu, or a head-office address that lists the outlets. On that list the customer goes back to the outlet they last ordered from, or picks one by area or by name; each order lands on that outlet's Draft tickets only.

Money and reports

Payment accounts

Each location takes online payments on an account you choose: its own, or head office's. Online orders (with the bill QR) and the kiosk can each use a different one. Every payment is recorded once, with its refunds.

Online collections

For the house or head office: every gateway payment by location, from collected to settled to paid out, with refunds, fees and disputes. Multi-Outlet head offices can keep a payable to each outlet, with statements.

Online orders report

Every Direct Order for a day, a week, a month or any dates up to 90 days: accepted to which ticket, rejected and why, lapsed, and who handled it, with search by customer and an Excel download.

Then switch on Delivery on POS, add your zones, and turn on Delivery on the QR menu in Settings › Delivery; a checklist there shows what is still missing. Pay online needs your own payment gateway account and your own web address. QuickKOT helps you get your own payment gateway account with the leading providers. Prices are before GST.

Questions

Does QuickKOT take a commission on each order?

No. Direct Orders is part of your plan. On orders paid online, your payment gateway charges its usual fee on that payment; cash on delivery has no gateway fee.

Do I need my own website?

No. Your QuickKOT menu link takes delivery orders with cash on delivery from day one. Your own web address is needed for Pay online, and QuickKOT support connects it.

How do you stop fake orders?

Every delivery order is verified with a code on WhatsApp, repeat customers too, and you accept each one on Draft tickets before it reaches the kitchen. You can call the number on the card first.

Can each outlet of a chain take its own orders?

Yes. Each outlet has its own menu link and Draft tickets, and can have its own web address, or the chain can use one address that lists every outlet. Each outlet takes payments on its own account or head office's.

Delivery on POS, with riders and zones, is in delivery orders. The setup, step by step, is the Direct Orders tutorial. The QR menu itself is on QR menus.
